# Bonus system

# What is a bonus?

A bonus is an incentive that we offer to real money players so that you may play more on our real money games. Bonuses redeemed are only usable within the platform where they were redeemed. Depending on the bonus type, the real money amount may be added to your account before or after the play requirements have been met. A bonus will require you to play our games to a specific level within a specified time period to remove the bonuses' restrictions on the real money amount. These are commonly referred to as Wager Requirements (WR) or Playthrough Requirements. The details on these requirements are always available within the offer's Terms and Conditions section. If you are not able to meet the wager requirements at the end of the specified time period, some amount may be claimed back. You will always have access to your deposited funds for gameplay or withdrawal. However, incomplete bonus funds and related winnings may be subject to removal. Please note that you will not be able to move bonus funds or deposited funds tied to in-progress bonuses across Casino and Poker platforms.

# What is a deposit bonus?

Players can activate some bonuses by making a deposit. Certain deposit bonuses may have a minimum deposit requirement. The bonus amount offered can be fixed or can be a percentage of your deposit amount.

  • The bonus amount offered is a fixed amount (e.g., $20 extra on a deposit of $50). This will give you $70 to play with.

  • Percentage bonus: The bonus amount offered is a percentage of your deposit amount (subject to a maximum) (e.g., 100% of deposit amount up to a maximum of $100. So a deposit of $100 would earn you a $100 bonus giving you $200 for gameplay).

# Matchbets.com requires a 7x rollover on all bonus money.

Think of the 7x requirement as our way of saying hey, we know you are going to love us. So here is some free money to see what we have been trying to tell you. That you are going to love betting against other people for 2% juice!

The requirement ensures that you really are here to change the way you bet on sports and not some bonus hunter searching for the lost nickels and pennies. (they exist) Also, zero tolerance for multiple accounts people, please!

Now that we got through that.

# Bonus Money Explained

# What is rollover?

A Rollover requirement, or playthrough, is the number of times that the player must risk their initial deposit before they can withdraw any winnings without being penalized. If, for example, the bonus requires a 7x rollover on the bonus, this means that the player must risk an equivalent of 7x their initial deposit.

When it comes to Rollover, your wins and losses don't matter, each qualifying bet contributes to the handle and the Rollover required.

Our Rollover requirement is 7X. This means that you will have to play your bonus money 7 times before it’s available for withdrawal.

It does not matter if you win or lose the bets. It all counts as a total handle.

Perhaps a simple calculation will best help explain how rollovers work. We'll use a real-life requirement.

# Let’s look at our Match Deposit Bonus as an example.

Say you're a new bettor and load $500 into your account off the bat, meaning you also earned the full match at $500. Therefore, you're starting pot of money on the betting site is $1,000.

So $500 of that is bonus money — free money earned — is what needs to be multiplied with the rollover requirement to meet the minimum wagering requirement.

To continue our example, you start off with $500. With our rollover rate of 7X, that means money isn't withdrawable until you've wagered at least $3,500.

$500 Deposit + $500 Bonus = $1,000 In account. Max handle needs to = $3,500.00 before withdrawing the bonus $500.

To continue our example, you start off with $500. With our rollover rate of 7X, that means money isn't withdrawable until you've wagered at least $3,500.

# Risk/Win.

Of the Risk/Win amounts, the lower of the two amounts is used when calculating rollover.

For example, if you place two wagers: Wager A: $220 to win $200 Wager B: $100 to win $140 The win amount from Wager A would be added to the risk amount from Wager B to give you a total of $300 towards your Rollover requirements.

# So how do I get a bonus?

We regularly update our bonuses and promotions, so there are plenty of opportunities to claim them. Check your inbox or click on Promotions to find out how you can claim a bonus today.

# Why didn't I get my bonus?

Bonuses are extra rewards paid out to you under certain conditions.

Usually, if a bonus wasn’t awarded, it’s because the terms and conditions of the promotion haven't been met. Try these steps to find out what may have happened:

  • Go to the promotions page and check that you have opted in.
  • Check that you have deposited the minimum required amount.
  • Check if you have made the deposit during the promotion period.

If you’re sure you have met all the promotion criteria but you still haven’t received your free bet or bonus, please get in touch with us. Send us the promotion name and other details, and we'll get your bonus credited as quickly as possible.

# Why can't I withdraw my balance when using a bonus?

You’ll be able to withdraw your winnings only after you have met the bonus wagering requirement.

Depending on the bonus, your deposit amount, bonus amount or winnings (if any) can be restricted to a specific product, sport, sports league, game or group of games. If you fail to meet the wagering requirement by the bonus expiry date, the bonus amount and the winning amount (if any) will be taken back.

# I've placed bets fulfilling the bonus' requirements, but it has not been released. Why?

In order for the wagering requirements of a bonus to be updated, all bets must be settled before the bonus expires.

# What is a bonus code?

A bonus code is a string of letters or numbers that you must enter when making a deposit or registering for an account if you want to be eligible for the bonus offer. You can find bonus codes in various media, including promotional emails and advertisements on our websites or elsewhere.

# Can I use a bonus code that was offered to a friend or that I found on the internet?

Bonus codes may be targeted to specific players by our player promotions and marketing teams. Bonus codes that are targeted to a player are visible in their new bonuses page. Other players will not be able to use targeted bonus codes. Other bonus offers may be offered to all players and are usually part of a wider promotion. Such bonus offers may be advertised on the Promotions section or other pages of our website. Our promotions and marketing teams may use other methods (banners, emails, direct mailers, etc.) to reach you.

# What is the expiration date?

Our bonuses do not have an expiration date. So if there is a rollover requirement it can be fulfilled at any time.

# Can I reuse the same bonus code again?

Not all bonuses can be reused. You may have received a reusable bonus under a special campaign. A reusable bonus campaign allows the player to use the same bonus code multiple times till the limit on the total bonus amount or the number of deposits is met. Such a reusable bonus will be a play-restricted bonus. Remember, the reusable bonus will be offered for a limited time offer. Sometimes we may also have limited time campaigns when we advertise a bonus code on our pages to all our players. Players may make multiple deposits during this time using the same bonus code.
